The MicroPulse Units (excepting the LT) are equipped with the ability to receive data from up to 6 encoder channels. All 6 channels feed through a single encoder input. While the MicroPulse can accept both differential and quadrature encoder inputs from many types of encoders, the wiring must be done correctly for each of these inputs to function correctly. UTEX can create a custom harness for your unit for fixed systems where each of the encoders are connected directly to the encoder input. Alternatively, if it is likely that different encoders and different formats of inspection may occur using the same unit, then a custom encoder pigtail can be created which will allow each encoder to be connected to a chosen connector stytle. Using multiple styles of encoder can be accomplished by using a quick release terminal and creating multiple adapters for different encoder types.
